Aura started with a simple frustration: dating had become a game of numbers and dopamine, and it left people feeling more alone. We thought connection deserved better.
So we made three apps instead of one. Aura for anyone, Himr for men who love men, and Herr for women who love women — each a real home rather than a filtered afterthought. Underneath, they share one platform, one community, and one uncompromising standard for safety.
We measure success differently, too. Not by hours spent swiping, but by conversations that continue, dates that happen, and people who quietly leave because they found what they came for. If that's you one day — good. That's the point.
