There are three distinct levels: phone (SMS code), photo (a live selfie matched to your photos), and ID (a secure government-ID check). Each shows a specific badge so others know exactly what's been confirmed. Your ID is never displayed.

Blocking is instant and applies across all three apps. Reports are reviewed by trained moderators. Both are always free and always available — never behind any wall.

In Around You, you can send one short message to say hello before matching. They're limited daily to prevent spam, and the recipient can accept, decline, block or report. A full conversation only opens if they accept.
